There is a wide variety of concerts, theater and plays being held in Rerdding. Below are some links to find the latest venues and book tickets.


THEATER

A wiide range of broadway shows such as 42nd Street and Fiddler on the Roof, concerts and plays come to the Redding Convention Center. Online booking is now available if you wish to book before you arrive in Redding. In addition to the events at the Convention Center, you can also book plays and venues which are playing at the Cascade Theater or the RiverFront Playhouse. CASCADE THEATER

The Cascade Theater was originally built in 1935 and has been recently been restored as an Historic Property preserving the building’s Art Deco architectural features while adapting it for modern theatrical performances. A great addition to the Redding Theater scene, the Cascade Theater celebrated its grand re-opening on August 14, 2004 and now operates as a multi-use performing arts center. Shasta College Theater and Art Gallery

The Shasta College Theater and the Shasta College Art Gallery have been offering first-class entertainment to Shasta County residents for more than 20 years. The Shasta College Fine Arts Program offers quality cultural entertainment with more than 50 performing arts events each year.

Old City Hall Gallery and Performing Arts Center

Located in the historic area of downtown Redding, the Old City Hall Gallery and Performing Arts Center is an historic building which is listed in the National Register of Historical Places.

PLAYS

If you enjoy watching live theatre, visit the Riverfront Playhouse while you are in Redding. The Riverfront Playhouse celebrates the arts with wonderful classic plays throughout the year such as a Death of a Salesman and The Butler Did It Again.
